This is a marvelous example of how an abandoned old building can be given new life as a lovely tiny house with special character and charm.
Marilyn and Brian Thompson, owners of a home just steps from the water on Cape Cod, in Massachusetts, decided to transform their old and run down garage, found behind their Victorian-era house, into a tiny house for guests.
The result is a cozy small house with very nice cedar shingles, window brackets borrowed from the 1880s main house, a sunny balcony, and plenty of beautiful landscaping and flower garden.
They created a beautiful escape hideaway in a storybook cottage style. Let’s explore further…Inside, nice color tones, vintage furnishings and attractive details abound.
